Sandy Pines Resort is absolutely breathtaking in the Fall. If you are every considering a Fall Adventure, this is the place. Across the lake is Deep Portage Reserve, so there is no buildings and there never will be; all you see and enjoy is the beautiful colors and hills of the reserve. There are many hiking trails there also that you can enjoy. The Resort is quiet in the Fall, our guests are busy relaxing, fishing and just enjoying the peace and quiet that we offer! The wildlife is still very active in the fall so you will enjoy the eagles soring in and out of the resort, doing extra fishing I believe. The loons are still around not yet going south to Florida.
